Bobby Prasad

Dr. Bobby Prasad was the Global Chief Medical Officer at Abraaj Advisers until May 2017.

Bobby was a central strategic and operational figure in the team that raised US$1billion in funding at Abraaj for healthcare and impact investing in emerging markets. Bobby has been in clinical practice for over 20 years, including senior roles on faculty at Yale University and Clinical Lead at a major London Teaching Hospital. Bobby is a regular attendee at Davos, and serves as a Council Member of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Industry Agenda Council on the Future of the Health Sector, and is currently a Council Member on WEF's Value in Healthcare Committee and a member of the Global Chief Medical Officer's Council.

Bobby is a graduate of the University of Oxford and a Trustee of the Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation.
